Water Flow Control Assembly & By-Pass Control Assembly
1.Disconnect the electrical power.
2.Turn off the gas supply.
3.Turn off water supply. Drain all water from the appli-
ance.
4.Remove 4 screws securing the front panel.
Remove front panel. For indoor models, remove
the controller bracket.
5.Remove 2 screws securing inlet fixture as well as the
1 screw to the right of the inlet fixture. Pull fixture
away from unit (ensure fixture o-ring is intact).

6.Remove the 2 screws from By-Pass valve retainer
clips as well as the screw holding in the ceramic
anti-frost heater to the valve assembly. (FIGURE 2)
7.Disconnect the following harnesses: By-Pass Valve
(WT/PK/BL/RD), Water Flow Sensor (RD/BK/YL),
and Water Flow Control Valve (GY/BR/OR/WT/PK/
BL/RD).
8.Remove the Water Flow Servo and By-pass Valve
assemblies. (A small amount of water may still be
present be sure not to let water come into contact
with electrical components) (FIGURE 3)

Black-BK, Blue-BL, Brown-BR, Grey-GY, Orange-OR,
Pink-Pink, Red-RD, White-WT, Yellow-YL
