CAUTION
The engine oil level must be between the
"L" (Low) line and "F" (Full) line, or
engine damage may occur.
Check the oil level, through the inspec-
tion window, with the motorcycle held
vertically on level ground before each
use of the motorcycle.

ENGINE OIL AND FILTER CHANGE

Change the engine oil and oil filter at the ini-
tial 1000 km (600 miles) and at each mainte-
nance interval. The oil should be changed
when the engine is warm so that the oil will
drain thoroughly from the engine. The pro-
cedure is as follows:
1. Place the motorcycle on the side stand.
2. Remove the oil filler cap 1.
