5. Focus on your subject by pressing lightly on the
shutter release. Confirm that the subject is within flash
distance. Unfortunately, the SB-400 does not have a
distance scale on it, so you'll have to use the chart
below. Assuming you've confirmed the distance,
you're ready to shoot.

SB-600

SB-800, but with fewer features and lower power ratings. The
SB-600 was announced with the D70 and arrived in stores in
