Charging the Battery

The battery charger is essential in providing long life for your Power Glide
battery. It is designed to optimize your product's performance by charging
the battery safely, quickly, and easily. The battery charger is only func-
tional when the charger power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
The battery may encounter temperature extremes that can influence its per-
formance. Extreme heat diminishes the charge on the battery; extreme cold
slows the available power and extends the time needed to recharge the bat-
tery. Keep the battery fully charged whenever possible and protect the bat-
tery from extreme heat or cold.
WARNING! Always protect the battery from freezing and
never charge a frozen battery.
WARNING! Explosive conditions exist!
