Tube Plate
• Lubricate all the m oving parts with clean 52 5
viscosity refrigerant oil.
• C h eck for free rotation.
8. Suction cross-over cover (46) (figure 42).
• R em ove J 9397.
• C o m p ress the cover (46) to start it into the slot.
• Press on top of th e co ver (46) until th e en d s are
flush.
9. Seal 9 2 5) and bushing (24) to the front end of the
d ischarge cross-over tube (26) (figure 43).
• P lace the internal assem b ly on J 21352.
10. Dow el pins (20) to the front cylin der (figure 44).
11. Front suction reed plate (19) to the front cylinder half
(29) (figure 44).
• Align the dowel pins (20), suction ports, oil re­
turn slot and discharge cross-over tu be (26).
12. Front discharge valve plate (18) (figure 45).
• Align the holes with the dowel pins (20) and
the openings in th e front suction reed plate
(19). T h e front d is ch arg e plate (18) has a large
hole in th e center.
13. Front head (16) (figure 46).
• C oat the sealing surfaces on the w ebs of the
com pressor front head casting with clean 52 5
viscosity refrigerant oil.
• D eterm ine the position of the front head (16) in
relation to the dowel pins (20).
• M ark the position of the dowel pins (20) on the
sides of the front head (16) and on the sides of
the internal assem bly with a grease pencil.
• Lower the front head (16).
