1. O -ring (15) w ith J 33011 (figure 15).
• Dip th e seal (15) into clean
refrigerant oil.
• Insert J 33011 down into the com pressor neck
until the tool " bottom s."
• Lower the m ovable slide of J 33011 into the
lower groove.

Position Gaging Guide
• R otate J 33011 to seat th e seal (15).
• R em o ve J 33011.
• C oat the seal (14) with clean 5 2 5 viscosity
refrigerant oil.
• M ount the seal (14) to J 9392-01 by e n g ag in g
th e ta b s of th e s e a l w ith
J 9392-01.
• P lace J 22974 over the end of the co m pressor
shaft (39).
• Slide the seal (14) and J 22974 down onto the
com pressor shaft (38).
• Twist J 9392-01 to the right (clockw ise) w hile
pushing the seal assem b ly down th e shaft (38)
until the seal assem b ly (14) e n g a g e s the flats
on th e shaft and se at in p lace. Push dow n to
full dep th.
• D ise n g a g e J 9392-01 by pressing dow nward
and twisting to the left (counterclockw ise).
• Seal (13) to J 23128.
