H Bookmarking a place in a disc

If you watch only part of a DVD disc with the intention
of picking up later where you left off, you can bookmark
the place then resume playback at a later date without
having to manually search for the right place.
You can use this feature for up to five discs (after that
the oldest bookmark is deleted to make space for a new
one).

At the point from which you want to
resume playback next time, press LAST.
Press W if you want to stop playback here.

To resume playback, load the disc and
press LAST.
If the disc starts auto playback, stop it first.

To clear the bookmark for the disc loaded, press
LAST
then
CLR
while
'LAST-MEMORY'
is displayed
on-screen.

Bookmarking also works with Video CDs, but for one
disc only, and you must leave the disc in the player-
opening the disc tray erases the memory Last Memory
may not work reliably with some PBC Video CDs.

Memorizing disc settings

If you have a particular set of preferences for a disc, you
can memorize them using the Condition Memory
function. Once memorized, your settings will be recalled
automatically whenever you load that disc. The player
can store settings for 15 discs; after this, memorizing
another replaces the oldest one stored.

Si vous ne regardez qi'une partie du disque DVD dam
l'intention de le reprendre plus tard a l'endroit ou vous
l'avez laiss6, vous pouvez indexer l'endroit puis reprendre la
lecture un autre jour sans devoir rechercher manuellement
le bon endroit.
Vous pouvez utiliser cette caracte'ristique pour un maximum
de cinq disques (apt& quoi l'ancienne indexation est effac&
pour laisser de la place a la nouvelle).
Au point air vous souhaitez reprendre la
lecture la prochaine fois, appuyez sur LAST.
Appuyez sur W si vous souhaitez arreter ici la lecture.
Pour reprendre la' lecture, chargez le
disque et appuyez sur LAST.
Si le disque demarre automatiquement la lecture,
arretez-la d'abord.

Pour supprimer l'indexation du disque charge',
appuyez sur
LAST
puis sur
CLR
tandis que
"LAST-
MEMORY"
est affichee a l'ecran.

Lindexation fonctionne e'galement avec des Video CD,
mais pour un seul disque, et vous devez la&r le disque
darts le lecteur. L'ouverture du plateau a disques efface la
memoire. I1 se peut que I' Last Memory " ne fonctionne pas
fidelement avec certains Video CD avec PBC.

Si vous avez des preferences de reglagecpour un disque,
vous pouvez les memoriser en utilisant la fonction
'I Condition Memory 'I. Une fois memorise's, vos re'glages
seront automatiquement rappel& toutes les fois que
vous chargerez un disque. Le lecteur peut memoriser des
re'glages pour 15 disques ; apt& quoi, une autre
memorisation remolacera la olus ancienne.
