For USB Interface Cable Users

For Mac OS
Make sure that you have completed the instructions from Step 1 "Setting Up
the Machine" on pages 4 - 11.

Switch off and unplug the machine from the
AC outlet and disconnect it from your
Macintosh if you already connected an
interface cable.

Turn on your Macintosh

Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your
CD-ROM drive.

Double-click the Start Here OS 8.6 - 9.2
icon to install the printer, scanner and PC-
FAX Send drivers. When the language
screen appears, select your language.

Select USB Interface, and then click Install.

After the installation is completed, restart
your Macintosh

Connect the USB interface cable to your

Macintosh , and then connect it to the
machine.
Do not connect the machine to a
USB port on a keyboard or a non
powered USB hub.

Turn on the machine by plugging in the
power cord. Turn the power switch on.
