Problem
Camera takes time to turn
on.
Shutter-release disabled.
Photos are out of focus.
Solution
Delete files or folders.
• Memory card is full or not
inserted.
• CPU lens with aperture ring
attached but aperture not locked
at highest f-number. If
displayed in control panel, select
Aperture ring for Custom Setting
f9 (Customize command dials) >
Aperture setting to use lens
aperture ring to adjust aperture.
• Exposure mode S selected with
A selected for shutter speed.
• Rotate focus-mode selector to S
or C.
• Camera unable to focus using
autofocus: use manual focus or
focus lock.
• Shutter-release button can not be
used to focus when Tripod is
selected in live view mode. Use
the AF-ON button to focus.
