Installing the Printer

❏ Do not place the printer in dusty locations.
❏ The printer must be installed horizontally.
❏ Leave enough space in front of the printer for the ink cartridge
cover and the roll paper cover to be fully opened, and be careful
not to place an obstacle in front of the printer, especially when you
install the printer on a mounting table.
❏ If you install the printer in a location where it could fall during
operation, make sure to secure the printer with screws.
❏ When installing the printer on a mounting table, secure the printer
with two screws (M4) or fix it with affixing tape. Use screws
between 7 and 10 mm long from the ground point of the rubber
foot on the printer.

❏ Do not allow cables to catch or foreign matter to accumulate under
the printer.
❏ Do not subject the printer to impact during operation. Otherwise,
print problems may occur.
