Installing the Printer Driver

CAUTION:
Be sure to confirm the operating environment (page 15) before
installing.
You are required to log on to the computer as a user with administrative
rights.
For the USB Interface Model
1.
Turn off the printer. (You will turn it on during installation by
following the instructions.)
2.
For a 32bit OS, double-click on the icon "c61d32_XXXX.exe."
For a 64bit OS, double-click on the icon "c61d64_XXXX.exe."
3.
Complete the installation by following the instructions displayed.

For Ethernet Interface Model

1.
Make sure the printer is turned on.
2.
Set the IP address to the printer by using EPSON TMNet
WinConfig.
Click [Start] - [Control Panel] - [Printer] (or [Printers and Faxes]).

From the menu, click [File] - [Add Printer].
5.
Click [Add a local printer].
6.
Select [Create a new port:], select [Standard TCP/IP Port] in
"Type of port," and click [Next].
7.
Set each item as described below:
Device type
Hostname or IP address
Port name
Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use
8.
Select [Standard] in "Device Type," select [Generic Network
Card], and click [Next].
9.
Click the [Cancel] button to close the window.
10. For a 32bit OS, double-click on the icon "c61d32_XXXX.exe."
For a 64bit OS, double-click on the icon "c61d64_XXXX.exe."
11. Complete the installation by following the instructions displayed.
