When the ignition switch of the vehicle equipped with the Lexus
Link System is turned ON and a call is in progress, the commu-
nication signal between the two parties will be disconnected.
Therefore, if a call is in progress, do not put the phone in the
cradle for approximately 10 seconds after the ignition switch
has been tuned ON.
This will minimize the possibility of interruption or loss of con-
nection.
Command Module
(All Models Except LS 430 / LX 470
equipped with Navigation)
The command module is the system's primary component as it
relates to you. The module has four multifunctional switches.
The function of each switch is dependent on the status of the
phone. The menu listings of the various phone states and the
relationship of each switch follows:
The command module installed in the LS 430 / SC 430 / GS
430 at the factory features an audio mode switch that has been
incorporated into the component. However, you cannot adjust
the audio volume using the command module in the Lexus Inte-
grated Mobile Phone System.
