Take the following action depending on the status of the jammed paper.
Important
If you can find the jammed paper through the opening:
(1)
Remove the jammed paper from the opening.

If you cannot find the jammed paper through the opening:
(1)
Pull up the handle [B].
(2)
Remove the paper jammed inside the paper feed area.
(3)
Pull down the handle [B].

Return the lever [A] back to its original position.
4.3 When a Paper Jam Occurs

Do not touch the black plastic component in the print unit. You can get ink on your hands.

If the paper edge is located behind the print unit, hold

both edges of paper, and remove the paper toward you
while pulling out degree by degree in the feeding
direction.
