You can actively switch between the input device and the integrated
scanner. If you only want to enable the integrated scanner, set the Scanner
Selection command to the value for the specific integrated scanner
installed on the 243X. For example, if you have an integrated long range
scanner, set the Scanner Selection command to "Intg. L/R."
The Symbol connector module supports Symbol scanners for 1700
configurations. For help, visit the Symbol web site at www.symbol.com.
Use the next table to determine which interface cable and Scanner
Selection command value to use for each input device. To learn more
about the serial connector module, see "Learning About the Connector
Modules" on page 27.
