Fonts

Scalable and/or TrueType fonts are avaulable with the Microsoft Windows 3.1 driver or later. Printing can

be obtained with the Windows TrueType fonts or with the Portrait fonts residing in the printer (the printer's

Landscape fonts cannot be used under Windows).

Combines speed and quality.

Presentation

Provides the best quality at a lower speed.

Bozza

Provides fast printing.

Economy

Saves ink.

Paper Quality

By selecting Film, the quality will be LQ regardless of the setting made.

4.2 THE DOS ENVIRONMENT

The printer can use the following emulations: PCL III+ (predefined), IBM Proprinter X24 Mod. 4207/1 and

EPSON LQ 850:

PCL III+ mode:

Select the PCL III+ driver during the configuration of the application driver. If PCL III+ is not available, select

HP DeskJet 500C or HP DeskJet 500. The PCL III+ mode also supports color printing.

IBM Proprinter X24 mode:

Select the IBM Proprinter X24 Mod. 4207/1 driver during the configuration of the application driver. This

mode only supports monochrome printing. The printer will enter an error condition if an attempt is made

to print using a color print head. A demo page is not available for this type of emulation.

EPSON LQ 850 mode:

Select the EPSON LQ 850 driver during the configuration of the application software. This mode only

supports monochrome printing. The printer will enter an error condition if an attempt is made to print using

a color print head. A demo page is not available for this type of emulation.
