3.2 UNPACKING THE PRINTER
Checking the Box Contents
The basic printer is shipped in a single box containing the following components in addition to the User's
Guide:

The JP 90 printer (A)
-
AC/DC adapter (B)
-
Print head (C)
-
Print driver diskettes (D).
3.3 PLUGGING THE AC/DC ADAPTER TO THE ELECTRICAL POWER OUTLET
Plug the AC/DC coax cable plug into the DC-IN jack on the rear of the printer.
Plug the AC/DC adapter to the electrical power outlet after making sure that the voltage rating indicated
on the data plate located on the bottom of the adapter corresponds to the line voltage specifications.
To guarantee optimum printer performance make sure that the printer complies with the specifications
indicated in section 3.1.
