3.1 Access via Local Phone

This chapter describes the configuration of every parameter available on the
OpenScape Desk Phones. For access via the local phone menu, see the subse-
quent description; for access via the web interface (WBM), please refer to How to
Access the Web Interface (WBM).

1) Access the Administration Menu
Press the Settings, Up Arrow or Down Arrow and OK keys consecutively to
select the Admin menu.
2) When the Admin menu is active, you will be prompted to enter the adminis-
trator password.
The default admin password is 123456. It is highly recommended to change
the password (see Password) after your first login.
For entering passwords with non-numeric characters, please consider the
following:
By default, password entry is in numeric mode. For changing the mode, press
the # key once or repeatedly, depending on the desired character. The # key
cycles through the input modes as follows:
(Abc) > (abc) > (123) > (HEX) > (ABC) > back to start.
Usable characters are 0-9 A-Z a-z .*#,?!'+-()@/:_
