SAXO - XSARA ADJUSTING THE DELPHI MECHANICAL INJECTION PUMP CONTROLS

Checking the engine deceleration.

- Move the throttle lever (5) to obtain an engine speed of 3000 rpm.
- Release the throttle lever (5).
- The deceleration should be between 2 and 3 seconds.

Step to be taken
NOTE : In each case, check the idle speed for any necessary adjustments.
ESSENTIAL : Check the operation of the manually-operated "STOP" control (10).
