Operating other manufacturers' video equipment

By changing the remote control signals from preset ones to
the other manufacturers', you can use the remote control
supplied for this system to operate other manufacturers' TVs,
VCRs, CATV converters and DBS tuners.
• When operating other video equipment, aim the remote
control directly at the remote control sensor on each
equipment. Refer also to the instruction manuals supplied
with your equipment.

7 Operating TV

• You can operate a JVC TV without setting the remote
control signal setting.

Press TV CONTROL.

Press the number buttons (1-9, 0) to enter a
manufacturer's code (2 digit).
See the list below to find the codes.
Ex: For a Sanyo TV, press 1, then 3.
For a Toshiba TV, press 0, then 8.

Release TV .

Try to operate your TV by pressing TV
When your TV turns on or off, you have entered the
correct code.
If more than one code is listed for your brand of TV, try
each one until you enter the correct one.
After setting transmittable signals, you can use the
following buttons for the TV operations.
TV :Turns the TV on and off.
TV VOL +/– :Adjusts the volume.
TV/VIDEO :Selects the input mode (either TV or VIDEO).
After pressing TV CONTROL:
CHANNEL +/– :Changes the channels.
1-10, 0, +10 (100+) :Selects the channel.
:Alternates between the previously
