Turn ig nition sWitch to ON (engi n e OFF) .

Do other warning lights turn on?

Go to step
Repair combination meter.
1 ) Turn ignition switch to OFF.
2) Remove combination meter.
3) Remove ASS warning light b u l b from combination

meter.

Is ABS warning light bulb OK?

Go to step
Replace ASS warning light bulb.
1 ) Disconnect connector from ASSCM.
2) Disconnect connector (FSO) from relay box.
3) T u rn ignition switch to ON.
&
4) Measure voltage between connector ( F49) and c h assis
g ro u n d .

(F49) No. 54 - Chassis ground (-):
:
Is the vol/age more than 10 V?

Go to step
:
Repair broken wire in harness or con nector
1 ) Turn ignition switch to OFF.
&
2) Measure voltage between ABSCM connector ( F49) and
chassis g round.

(F49) No. 54 - Chassis ground (-):
:
Is vol/age less than 3 V?

Repair battery short of h arness.
