TheDeVilbissSleepCube
byDeVilbiss,yourphysicianorrespiratorytherapist.
Toavoidrebreathingofexhaledair,donotuseaCPAPmaskunlessthe
deviceisturnedonandprovidingasupplyofair.Ventinginthemask
shouldneverbeblocked.Whenthedeviceisturnedonandprovidinga
freshsupplyofair,exhaledairisflushedoutofthemaskvent.However,
whenthedeviceisnotoperating,exhaledairmayberebreathed.
Rebreathingofexhaledairforlongerthanseveralminutescaninsome
circumstancesleadtosuffocation.ThiswarningappliestomostCPAP
devices.
TheDeVilbissSleepCubeisnotalifesupportdeviceandmaystop
operatingwithcertaindevicefaultsorwithapowerfailure.Itisintended
tobeusedonspontaneouslybreathingindividualsweighing66lbs/30Kg
orgreater.
Toavoidelectricshock,alwaysunplugpowercordfromwalloutletpower
sourcewhenperformingcleaning.
UseonlyaccessoriesrecommendedbyDeVilbiss.
CAUTION– T he circular data port connector located on the back of the SleepCube is
used to attach accessories to the device. The connector must only be
used with accessories approved for use by DeVilbiss. Do not attempt to
attach any other device to this connector as it may damage the CPAP or
the accessory device.
