Solution
Charge or replace the lithium-ion
battery in the PDT 8100.
Ensure battery is installed properly.
Perform a hard reset. See
ting Your PDT 8100 Terminal on
page 24.
Replace battery. If your PDT 8100
terminal still does not operate, try a
soft reset, then a hard reset; see
Resetting Your PDT 8100 Terminal
on page 24.
Insert PDT 8100 in cradle and be-
gin charging. The lithium-ion bat-
tery requires up to 4 hours to
recharge fully.
Press the PWR key.
