Open The machine does not turn on.
Shorted The machine does not turn off.

right vertical guide is opened.
Shorted The Cover Open indicator is lit when the right
vertical guide is closed.
Open The CPU cannot detect the proper paper
size, and misfeeds may occur when a copy
