Safety lock/System lock

Keep children away from the cooktop for their own safety.
Your appliance is equipped with a safety lock to prevent the
cooktop and the cooking zones being switched on or any
settings being altered.
The safety lock can be activated when the cooktop is
switched on. If the safety lock is activated:
– The settings for the cooking zones and the timer settings
cannot be changed.
– The cooking zones, the cooktop and the timer can be
switched off, but once switched off cannot be switched on
again.
The system lock can be activated when the cooktop is
switched off. If the system lock is activated, the cooktop
cannot be switched on and the timer cannot be used.
The cooktop is programmed in such a way that the system
lock has to be operated manually.
The settings can be changed so that the system lock is
activated automatically five minutes after the cooktop has
been switched off (see "Programming").
If a prohibited sensor is touched while the safety lock or
system lock is activated, the indicator light and the Timer
display will appear for a few seconds LC.
Three-finger operation is set at the factory. You can change
this setting to one-finger operation (see "Programming").
The safety lock and the system lock will be deactivated in
the case of a power cut.
