Problem
There is a strange smell
or vapours when a new
appliance is being
used.
If this happens, ß will
flash in the relevant
cooking zone display
alternating with the
power setting selected .
"LC" appears in the
timer display for a few
seconds after switching
on the cooking zone.
After switching on the
cooking zone "dE"
appears in the timer
display for several
seconds.
The cooking zones
won't heat up.
A cooking zone or the
entire appliance
switches off
automatically.
The Booster function
has automatically
deactivated early.
The cooking zone is not
working in the usual
way at the power
setting selected.
Possible cause
There is no pan or an
unsuitable pan on the
cooking zone.
The system lock has been
activated.
The appliance is in
demonstration mode.
A cooking zone has been
operated for too long.
The overheating
protection mechanism has
been activated.
The overheating
protection mechanism has
been activated.
Problem solving guide
Remedy
The smell and any
vapours will dissipate
after a short time.
Use suitable pans (see
"Pans").
You need to deactivate
the system lock (see
"Safety lock").
You need to deactivate
the demonstration mode
(see "Programming").
This doesn't indicate a
