REPLENISHMENT
To keep the concentration of developer and
fixer at a constant level two kinds of
replenishment automatically take place.
AUTOMATIC REPLENISHMENT
compensates for processing exhaustion in
the following way:
When material is being fed, the electronics of
the processor will calculate the area of the
material (width x lenght) detected by the film
input sensors.
The processor pumps developer and fixer
replenishment into the tanks according to the
calculation, based on the preset replenish-
ment values, the area of the material, and the
percentage density (as set on the control
panel).
When presetting replenishment values refer
to the information provided by the manu
facturers of chemicals and films.

TIME REPLENISHMENT
Time replenishment is released at regular
intervals to compensate for the evaporation
and oxidation of developer and fixer. The
replenishment takes place when the pro-
cessor is switched on.
Power is on as long as the mains wall outlet
for the machine is on, even if the processor
itself is switched to off.
MANUAL REPLENISHMENT
In addition to this, the MANUAL
REPL. key allows you to replenish
manually.
Press the key to release 100 cc of
replenisher manually. This key may
also be used to obtain correct level in the
developer and fixer tanks, or to recover the
balance in the tanks in case of insufficient
replenishment.
