Point
WARNING
Ensure that the boiler is cool.
Ensure that both the gas and electrical supplies to
the boiler are isolated. Electrical isolation can be
checked at the electrical test point.
CAUTION
During inspection and maintenance operations,
always replace all gaskets on the parts removed.
Use only original spare parts that are intended for
use with this type of boiler.
When performing any inspection or maintenance
personal protective equipment must be used where
appropriate.
1. Unscrew the two securing screws on the front panel. Remove
the front panel (Figs. 36 & 37).
2. Visually check for debris/damage and clean or replace if
necessary the following:
a) Check the water pressure (sealed systems)
b) Check the flue pipes and air supply pipes for leaks
c) Check and clean (if necessary) the condensate trap
d) Check the ignition electrode (replace if necessary)
e) Check the combustion
f) Complete the relevant Service Interval Record section of
the Benchmark Commissioning Checklist at the rear of
this publication and then hand it back to the user
