Ignition Switch Replacement
Remove the l eft m i d d l e cover stay assem bly ( page 5-4).
Remove the screw a n d i g n ition switch cove r.
Remove the i g n ition switch m o u nti ng bo lts us i ng a d ri l l,
then rem ove the switc h .
I nsta l l the new i g n ition switch a n d n e w m o u nting bolts.
Tighten the m o u nt i n g bolts u nt i l the head twist off.
I n sta l l the left m i d d l e cove r stay a sse m b ly ( page 5-4).
Side Stand Switch
Inspection
Disco n n ect the side sta n d switch 3P ( G reen ) connecto r a n d
check fo r conti n u ity betwee n e a c h color o f wi re term i n a l
as shown i n t h e c h a rt below.
There s h o u l d be conti n u ity between the
the fol l owin g c h a rt u nder the con d itions shown here.

R e m ove the s i d e sta n d switc h m o u nt i n g b o l t a n d s i d e
stan d switc h .
I n sta l l t h e switch i n the reverse order o f remova l .

Torque: N·m kg-m, 7 ft·lb)
