The exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide gas that may cause loss of consciousness and lead to death.

CAUTION
Some electrical components may . be damaged if terminals o� connectors are connected or disconnected while

the ignition switch is ON and current is present.
When checki n g the i g n ition system , a lways fo l low the steps in the tro u b leshooti n g flow c h a rt ( page 1 6-3).

The I g n ition control m od u l e ( I C M ) may be d a m aged if d ropped. Also, if the con necto r is d i sco n n ected when c u rrent is

present, the excessive voltage may damage the u n it. Always turn off the i g n ition switch befo re servici n g .

i nco rrect, check the system components a n d replace any fa u lty parts.
