Troubleshooting

- Loose spa rk p l u g caps o r spark p l u g wi re con nections.
- Wate r i n the spa rk plug ca p.
- Loose o r poo r contact of i g n ition system co n nectors.
No Spark At All Plugs (Faulty Input System)
If there is no spa rk to the p l ugs, the p roblem cou l d be the i n p ut to the i g n ition syste m ( i g n ition pu lse g e n e rator,

powe r i n put c i rc u it of the i g n ition control mod u l e ( I C M ) , neutra l switch , or side sta n d switch beca use if contro l s the
i g n ition control module ( I C M ) ) .
Check if the batte ry voltage i s measu red be­
twee n powe r sou rce i n put l i n e at the i g n ition
contro l mod u l e (ICM) co n n ecto r with the i g n i­
tion switch ON a n d the e n g i n e stop switch at
R U N ( page 1 6-8) .
