Always replace the o i l sea ls with new ones.

Coat the new o i l sea l with the reco m mended fo rk o i l a n d i nsta l l it with its m a rk fac i n g u p .
•
After assem b l i n g the fo rk legs, i nsta l l each fo rk leg i nto the lowe r fo rk bridge fi rst, then torq u e the fo rk cap.

the socket bolt.

free c loth a n d i nsta l l with the ta pered e n d fac i n g down .

1 Apply o i l to the new 0-ri n g .
CAUTION

Be careful not to cross-thread the fork cap.
•
Screw in the cap, but do not tighten yet.
