Using ServeRAID Manager
An IBM ServeRAID adapter enables you to configure multiple physical SCSI hard
disk drives to operate as logical drives in a disk array. The adapter comes with a
CD containing the ServeRAID Manager program and the ServeRAID
Mini-Configuration program, which you can use to configure the ServeRAID
controller.
To perform some tasks, you can run ServeRAID Manager as an installed program.

perform an initial RAID configuration on your server, you must run ServeRAID
Manager in Startable CD mode, as described in the instructions in this section. If
