PCI Slots The motherboard conforms to the PCI Version 2.1 specification. The concurrent
PCI architecture of this motherboard allows faster CPU, PCI, and ISA bus
transactions for faster and smoother multimedia performance. This motherboard
allows you to install either PCI V2.0 or PCI V2.1-comaptible adapter cards
The five PCI slots are automatically configured by the AMIBIOS. The PCI slots
operate synchronously with the CPU clock, as follows:

Onboard I/O The Olympus Pentium II/Pentium III ISA motherboard includes:
•
two 40-pin IDE connectors on the PCI bus that support up to four IDE
drives,
•
a 34-pin floppy drive connector,
•
two DB9 serial port connectors (with 16550 UARTs),
•
a DB25 parallel port connector with ECP and EPP support,
•
an infrared connector,
•
two USB connectors that permit high speed USB-compliant external
peripheral devices,
•
a PS/2 keyboard connector, and
•
a PS/2 mouse connector.
