DISASSEMBLING THE FORK

•
Drain oil, see (DRAINING OIL).
•
Set the slider in a vice with soft jaws (aluminium).
•
Unscrew and remove the lower screw (1), collect
the washer.
• Slide the slider off the sleeve and collect the
bushing.
• Slide off the damper rod (2) from the slider and
remove the spring (3).
• Remove the dust seal (4) from sleeve.
