Vent Confi gurations with Vertical
Components in Excess of 10 Feet
The Revo model is shipped with an adjustable baffl e
shipped in the full open position. See Figure 4.15. The
baffl e may need to be adjusted if the vertical component
of the vent confi guration is 10 feet or greater. See the
chart in Figure 4.14 to determine the correct setting for
the application being installed. Closing the air shutter and
baffl e will improve the fl ame height if the vent confi gura-
tion involves a signifi cant amount of vertical venting. If the
baffl e is closed too far, pilot starvation and/or sooting may
occur. Ensure the baffl e screw(s) is/are secure once the
adjustment is made.
