Tips for Printing Multiple Copies
Before printing multiple copies, check how much paper is left on the installed paper roll. If you
run out of paper during the print job, the printer will reprint the poster where it left off (after a
new roll of paper is installed) and will continue to print any remaining copies.
You can only print multiple copies of 8-1/2" x 11" originals.
When you print multiple copies, the printer scans the original only one time.
You cannot print multiple copies when printing a partial enlargement of the original, when
printing a banner or when using the split printing feature.
If the Auto Cut option is on, the paper is cut automatically after each copy is printed. If the Auto
Cut option is off, you must press [Cut] to cut the paper after printing has completed. The copies
are printed on a continuous sheet of paper; the paper is not cut for the individual copies.
After you finish printing multiple copies, the number of copies value is reset to one.
If you selected multiple copies and you press [Start/Stop] during printing, printing stops and the
number of copies value is reset to one.
If an error occurs when printing multiple copies, the following message appears in the display:
STOP CLEAR/PRINT START.
For example, this message appears if the printer is out of paper or if the printer cover is not
completely closed. After you resolve the problem, press [Start/Stop] to resume printing; the
system resumes printing from where it stopped and prints all copies that have not yet been
printed. If you do not want to print the remaining copies, press [Clear].
