DC Car Cord
• Your vehicle must have a 12 volt or 24 volt, negative-ground electrical system.
• Use only the supplied car battery cord (using another cord could damage the TV/VCR).
• Before you plug the DC power cord into the vehicle's cigarette-lighter socket, make sure the
socket is free of ashes or other debris. Plug the cord completely into the socket.
• Always unplug the DC power cord from the cigarette-lighter socket before you unplug it from
the TV/VCR.
• When replacing fuses, always use the same type: 8A, 125V.
• If you use the TV/VCR with the vehicle's engine off, recharge the vehicle's battery after about
every four hours of TV/VCR use. Always unplug the DC power cord from the vehicle's
cigarette-lighter socket when the TV/VCR is not in use.
• To protect your vehicle's battery and to ensure that it has enough power to start your vehicle,
the TV/VCR will shut off if DC power drops below 11 volts.
