From the bottom, pull the
metal clip through the
carrier and insert it into the
middle slot.

From the front, lift pad up
and place the buckle's
metal clip flush on bottom
of the carrier. Replace the
pad.
Pull on the buckle to check
to make sure buckle's metal
clip is secured.

Check Harness Height
With child in the child
restraint, check the location
of the harness slot.
Follow the guidelines below
to determine the correct
harness/headrest height.
Rear-Facing Position
Harness slot must be
even with or just below
the shoulders.
If the bottom harness slots
are above the child's
shoulders, do not use this
child restraint.

To Change Harness
Location
With harness system
loose, from the back,
remove harness from the
splitter plate.

From the front of child
restraint, pull harness
straps out.
