8.3.1

Electrically adjusting the backrest angle

Information on models with electrical backrest adjustment
If your wheelchair is fitted with electrical backrest adjustment, the maximum adjustment to the
rear is limited either by a microswitch or an angular sensor (depending on seating system and
seat depth).
If limiting is carried out by an angular sensor, both the backrest angle and the seat angle affect
the actual switch-off angle measured by the actuator.
In order to achieve maximum backrest adjustment, it may be necessary to bring the seat angle
into a neutral (upright) position.
