    APPLIANCE VENT CONNECTION Attach the adjustable pipe to the last section of rigid pipe. Secure #8 X 1/2” with screws and seal. SELF DRILLING Install the inner fl ex pipe to the appliance. Secure with 3 screws SCREWS and fl at washers. Seal the joint and screw holes using the high temperature sealant W573-0007 (not supplied).

    VERTICAL AIR TERMINAL INSTALLATION WARNING MAINTAIN A MINIMUM 2” SPACE BETWEEN THE AIR INLET BASE AND THE STORM COLLAR. Fasten the roof support to the roof using the screws provided. The roof support is optional. In this case the venting is to be adequately supported using either an alternate method suitable to the authority having jurisdiction or the optional roof support.

    MOBILE HOME INSTALLATION This appliance is certifi ed to be installed as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) installation in a manufactured home or mobile home and must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standard, Title 24 CFR, Part 3280, in the United States or the Mobile Home Standard, CAN/CSA Z240 MH Series, in Canada.

    5.0 FINISHING CAST FRONT INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL Lift the top cast piece off of the appliance. SCREWS BRACKET FRONT Detach the front cast piece from the side pieces by removing the screws from the brackets located in the upper inside corner. Slide the front straight up to remove.

    6.0 OPTIONAL BLOWER INSTALLATION BLOWER Cut and remove the tie securing the blower switch wires to the heat shield. Connect the white wire coming from below the appliance to the terminal on the blower. Connect the black blower wire to the black wire coming from below the appliance.

    7.0 OPERATION The on/off switch is located on the back of the appliance at the top right corner on model GDS20.     8.0 ADJUSTMENTS PILOT BURNER ADJUSTMENT Adjust the pilot screw to provide properly sized fl ame. Turn in a clockwise PILOT direction to reduce the gas fl ow. BURNER THERMOPILE Inlet pressure can be checked by turning screw (A) THERMOCOUPLE counter-clockwise until loosened and then placing pressure gauge tubing over the test point.
