Changing the unit's settings

In order to prevent another person from using this unit if it
is stolen, you can set a PIN number and input your
personal information.
Once the PIN number has been set, you cannot return to
the factory preset. Make sure not to forget this.
Initialize
≥ Press [ENTER] to show the following settings.
Shipping Condition
All the settings except for the ratings level, ratings
password, Owner ID and time settings return to the
factory preset. The timer recording programmes are
also cancelled.
Default Settings
All the settings except for the programmed channels,
time settings, disc language settings, ratings level,
ratings password, Owner ID and remote control code,
return to the factory presets.

Speaker Setting

This setting is only reflected when playing multi-channel audio. There is no effect with two-channel audio.
Changing the delay time
(Center and surround speakers only)
For optimum listening with 5.1-channel sound, all the
speakers, except for the subwoofer, should be the same
distance from the seating position. If you have to place the
center or surround speakers closer to the seating position,
adjust the delay time to make up for the difference.

1 Press [3, 4] to select the delay
time box and press [ENTER].
2 Press [3, 4] to adjust the
delay time and press [ENTER].
3 Press [3, 4, 2] to select "Complete" and press
[ENTER].

Adjusting the speaker levels
(Center and surround speakers only)
Adjust each speaker level to the same level to get
appropriate surround effects.
≥This cannot be set when headphones are connected.
1 Press [3, 4] to select "Test" and press [ENTER].

A Test signal is output from each speaker in a clockwise

motion. Signals are also output from the front speakers,
but they cannot be adjusted. Use this when adjusting

other speakers for comparison. When the test signal is
being output, press [3, 4] to lengthen the time of the test
signal.
2 Press [3, 4] to select the desired level for each
speaker while test signal is being output.
