7.1

MINIMUM CLEARANCE TO COMBUSTIBLES

Minimum clearance to combustible construction from appliance and vent surfaces:
Sides, back, bottom, and top
Vent pipe side, bottom and top*
Recessed depth (corner installation)
Ceiling
Enclosure
* HORIZONTAL VENT SECTIONS: A minimum clearance of 1" at the bottom and sides and 2" at the top of the
vent pipe on all horizontal runs to combustibles is required. Use fi restop spacer W010-2116 (supplied).
* VERTICAL VENT SECTIONS: A minimum clearance of 1" all around the vent pipe on all vertical runs to
combustibles is required except for clearances in appliance enclosures. Use fi restop spacer W500-0367 (not
supplied).
Horizontal Vent Off Appliance
A = 43" using fl exible vent components.
