Programmable settings
Problem
I cannot program items.
The display is in a language I
cannot read.
While programming, the unit starts
to ring.
I cannot register a handset to the
base unit.
I have programmed the Call
forward/Do not disturb/Block
caller ID/Block anonymous calls,
but the unit does not work as
programmed.

Cause/solution
L Programming is not possible while either another handset or
the base unit is being used. Try again later.
L Programming is not possible while the base unit is downloading
data. Wait until the 4 indicator stops flashing and lights in
steady green.
L Change the display language (page 12).
L A call is being received. Answer the call and start again after
hanging up.
L The maximum number of handsets (6) is already registered to
the base unit. Cancel unused handset registrations from the
base unit (page 41).
L You entered the wrong PIN. If you forget your PIN, contact your
phone system dealer.
L Place the handset and the base unit away from other electrical
appliances.
L The features may have been programmed by your
administrator. Contact your administrator for further
information.
L Features set on your unit may be overridden by your phone
system settings.
L Call forward ("Busy"/"No Answer") does not work when Do
not disturb is turned on (page 29, 36).
