Front Panel
Figure 1-4 shows the front panel of the CDD-880. The front panel features 16 Light-Emitting-
Diode (LED) indicators. The LEDs indicate, in a summary fashion, the status of the unit:

10/100/1000 BaseT Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) Activity

Traffic Status for each of up to 12 Rx Traffic (receive) channels.

Online when in 1:1 Redundant Mode (Online or Offline)
Condition
Green
No Unit Faults or Alarms.
Amber
No Unit Faults, but an Alarm exists.
Red
A Unit Fault exists (Example: PSU fault).
There is a Stored Event in the log, which can be viewed from the Web Server
Amber
Interface or retrieved via the remote control interface.
Off
There are no Stored Events.
Green
The Unit is On Line, and carrying traffic.
The Unit is Off Line (standby) – forced by externally connected 1:1 or 1:N
Off
redundancy system.
Green (solid)
Traffic Ethernet is connected, but no traffic exists.
Green (blinking) Ethernet activity detected.
Off
GE Ethernet port is not connected.
Green (solid)
No Rx Traffic Faults (demod and decoder are locked, everything is OK).
No Rx Traffic Faults, blinks when a packet is being received from the satellite link to
