Configuring settings for the local network

LAN settings

You start network configuration via the display menu:

Please note:
To get access to network configuration you need to enter the administrator password. The
default setting is admin.
Selecting the network type
IPv4

You may be asked to configure additional settings depending on your selection.
IPv4 configuration

Press the display key to return to the Local Network menu from where you select
the next network configuration step.

Press the display key to confirm the selection.
If the Dynamic setting is selected, all further settings are automatically configured. They are
displayed and cannot be changed.

Select the IP protocol that is used in
your network (IPv4 or IPv6).

Select Dynamic if your device receives the
IP address via a DHCP server. Select Static
if your device receives a fixed IP address.
If you have selected Static as the address type,
you must now create the following settings:
– IP Address
– Subnet Mask
– Standard Gateway
– Pref. DNS Server and
– Altern. DNS Server
