REPLACING THE FUSE

The TRC-502's 2-amp in-line fuse helps
protect your CB from power surges and
short circuits. When replacement is re-
quired, use a 2-amp, slow-blow glass
fuse, such as Cat. No. 270-1023.
Caution: Do not use a fuse with ratings
other than those specified here. Doing
so might damage your CB.
Follow these steps to replace the fuse.
1. Make sure the power source and
CB are both off.
2. Hold the fuse holder by both ends,
push the ends together, twist one
end counterclockwise, then pull
them apart.
3. Remove the old fuse and inspect its
condition. If it is not blown, reinsert
it. If it is blown, insert a new one of
the same type and rating.
4. Push the fuse holder ends together
and twist one end clockwise.
