Net Guard
If Net Guard is enabled, it will be displayed to confirm that you want a connection when you try
to use data services. The Net Guard feature helps you avoid accidental connections. You can
disable the feature in the future by selecting Auto-Connect when you see Net Guard displayed.
■ Press
> Settings > Others > Data Settings > Net Guard.
On to activate the Net Guard.
Off to deactivate the Net Guard.
Note: When enabled, Net Guard appears only once as long as you have not turned the phone
off and on.
Update Data Profile
Keep your data profile updated. See

Headset Mode

Set the sound output destination including the incoming ringtone.
1. Press
> Settings > Others > Headset Mode.
2. Select an option and press
Normal to play the sound through both the headset and the speaker.
Headset Only to play the sound through the headset only.

Language Settings

You can choose to display your phone's onscreen menus in English or in Spanish.
1. Press
> Settings > Others > Language.
2. Select English or Español.

Location Settings

Before using any of the location-based services, you must turn on your phone's location mode.
Enable Location Services
1. Press
> Settings > Others > Location > On/Off. (You will see the Location
disclaimer.)
2. Read the disclaimer and press
Settings
Update Your User
Name.
