5. Insert the DVD cable into the connector on the DVD drive cage; then slide the
cable connector to the left until it clicks into place.
The following illustration shows the label on the DVD cable.
6. Route the DVD cable through the cage hole on the chassis.
7. Connect the DVD drive signal cable to the system board and the power cable to
the power-supply paddle card (see "Internal cable routing and connectors" on
page 31); then, secure the cables with any retention clips.
8. Slide the DVD drive cage forward into the drive bay until the thumbscrew on the
rear of the drive cage align with the screw hole on the chassis.
