  • Page 7 ASS E MB LY ST EP 6 UPPER HANDLEBAR PRE-ATTACHED SCREWS NOTE: There is NO hardware bag for this step. A) Remove PRE-ATTACHED SET SCREWS from right UPPER HANDLEBAR. B) Slide right UPPER HANDLEBAR onto LOWER HANDLEBAR and secure by reinserting PRE-ATTACHED SET SCREWS C) Snap the front and back HANDLEBAR COVERS together onto the UPPER HANDLE BARS.

B) Carefully tuck the CONSOLE MAST wires into the CONSOLE MAST before attaching the CONSOLE. C) Attach CONSOLE to the CONSOLE MAST using the 4 PRE-ATTACHED SCREWS (screws will have to be removed from the console first).

    C U S TO M PR OG RA M MING Allows you to customize your workout by letting you create the terrain. Press CUSTOM key once. Choose goal by pressing TIME, CALORIES or DISTANCE key. Press the ARROW KEYS to select the desired duration, caloric expenditure or mileage of workout.

    CO ND I T I O NI NG GUI DE L I NE S ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN BEFORE BEGINNING AN EXERCISE PROGRAM. HOW OFTEN? (Frequency of Workouts) The American Heart Association recommends that you exercise at least 3 to 4 days per week to maintain cardiovascular fitness.
  • Page 14 STRETCHING T I P S STRETCH FIRST Before using your product, it is best to take a few minutes to do a few gentle stretching exercises. Stretching prior to exercise will improve flexibility and reduce chances of exercise related injury. Ease into each of these stretches with a slow gentle motion.

  • Page 16 T R O UB L E S H OOT ING Your Horizon Fitness elliptical is designed to be reliable. However, if you do experience problems with your elliptical, please reference the troubleshooting guide listed below. PROBLEM: The console does not turn on.

Cleanliness of your elliptical and its operating environment will keep maintenance problems and service calls to a minimum.
