NOTES: 1) If the system option flag TSTDIAG has been enabled in the data base or the Siemens Digital Telephone under
test is classmarked with TSTAPP feature, the maintenance test phone is 'not required to enable or disable the
Apparatus Diagnostic routines; therefore, perform only steps'5 through 9.
2) If the system option flag TSTDIAG has been disabled in the data base or the Siemens Digital Telephone under
test is not classmarked with the TSTAPP feature, the maintenance test phone is required to enab!e
the Apparatus Diagnostic routines; therefore, perfcrm ihe entire procedure (steps 1 through i0).
PROCEDURE

Place the maintenance test phone
off-hook.

D i a l t h e Diagncstic Test Access Code.

Dial 3 to enable the Apparatus Diag-
nostic Tests,

Place JR-DYAD Telephone off-hook.

Dial the Siemens Digital Telephone
Test Access Code.

Depress the Siemens JR-DYAD Tele-
phone keypad buttons as, follows: 1,
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, * , #.

Depress the JR-DYAD feature buttons

Place Siemens JR-DYAD Telephone
under test on-hook to terminate test.

Dial the Diagnostic Test Access code.
Dial 2 to disable the Apparatus Diag-
nostic Test.

Siemcns Digital Telephone - JR-DYAD Button Test
VERIFICATION
Dial tone is returned.
Recall dial tone is returned.
Confirmation tone is returned.
Dial tone is rereturned.
Recall dial tone is returned.
Button LEDs light when depressed
and extinguish when the next button
is depressed.
After the last button is depressed, the
following indications occur:
tone is returned.
All button LEDs flash.
T h e a u d i b l e a l e r t i n g d e v i c e s o u n d s a t
intervals.
Siemens JR-DYAD Telephone returns
to normal operation.

requires replacement.
